In August, 2015 IPI was engaged to provide Project Management Services for the development of the Global Financial Centre (GFC) located in Invaders Bay as a key part of the overall Port of Spain Redevelopment Progamme.

The Global Financial Centre includes a convention centre and a supporting hotel. It also consists of medium to high-density mixed-use development, inclusive of appropriate office, commercial and retail space, recreational parks, accommodation and conferencing facilities. It also contains residential and entertainment components, a ferry terminal and a marina.

The Global Financial Centre is proposed to be located in Invaders Bay, which consists of approximately 75.4 acres (31.5 Ha) of  both existing and reclaimed lands.

It is the intention that this attractive signature building will be well integrated into the structured land use plan and ongoing infrastructural designs for the area.
